Starting today, drivers must use hands-free devices if they want to tak on their cell phones in Washington State. The price tag for this offense up to a $124 ticket based oon the danger you appear to be causing.  The use of a cellphone without a hands-free device is considered a “secondary” offense, which means troopers have to see you do something else like running a red light before than can pull you over.

What is an unlocked cell phone? An unlocked cell phone is a phone that is not locked by software to only recognize the SIM ( Subscriber Identification Module ) card of a specific carrier. When a cell phone is locked it will only operate with the carrier it is locked to.
