For Now, I Will No Longer Be Posting Here
November 13, 2009
Awhile back I sold my very first web project CellPhoneFinder.com. I started this website when I had no web design experience whatsoever. I now run own a full-fledged search engine optimization company.
Unless I have a reason to get back into cell phones, I don’t expect to have a need to post here again for a very long time – if ever. However, I do own a couple of cell phone domain names, and have a very nice logo for one. So, if it ever makes sense, I might get back into the wireless business again. But, probably not for a very long time.
Feel free to follow me over at my SEO blog.
If anyone is interested in this blog just let me know. I’ll be happy to hand it over to the right person for free.

Starting today, drivers must use hands-free devices if they want to tak on their cell phones in Washington State. The price tag for this offense up to a $124 ticket based oon the danger you appear to be causing. The use of a cellphone without a hands-free device is considered a “secondary” offense, which means troopers have to see you do something else like running a red light before than can pull you over.

What are unlocked cell phones ?
October 23, 2006
What is an unlocked cell phone? An unlocked cell phone is a phone that is not locked by software to only recognize the SIM ( Subscriber Identification Module ) card of a specific carrier. When a cell phone is locked it will only operate with the carrier it is locked to.
Why are cell phones locked? Carriers claim this is necessary to subsidize the cost of phones being offered so cheaply with thier wireless plans.
Most phones can be unlocked. One company helping you unlock your phone is TheTravelInsider.
Some things you will need to know about you phone before you can prepare to unlock it. What Manufacturer and Model of phone do I have? Example would be manufacturer Motorola and model Razr V3? Is my phone a GSM, CDMA, TDMA or other phone? What frequency does my phone operate on? Typically this information can be easily found by removing the battery cover and possibly the battery from your phone. There is usually a tag on you phone that identifies this and other important information about your phone. Usually behind the battery is where you will find the your phones SIM card as well.
You will also need to know you GSM phones IMEI number. The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit code used to identify an individual GSM mobile station to a GSM network. This number can also be found behind the battery.
